Kuzhambu Thalipu Vadagam

With this Summer Soaring high, apart from the coolers that we make to keep our system cool, we also need to utilize it for making all annual staples for kitchen, right from pickles, vadams and vathals. Summers are always busy days for my grandma and mom and have enjoyed my childhood seeing all these preparations, helping them in drying and taking them out in evenings. Nostalgic 😊
Today am sharing one such recipe without which my kitchen pantry is not complete.
Kuzhambu Thalipu Vadagam – yes…a blend of all spices with shallots and garlic, the flavour it offers to Kuzhambu, sambar, kootu is unbeatable. Here’s my grandmas recipe followed by my mom to make this beauties for this year 😊

I use this to season the Kootu, Keerai Sambar and also make Thogayal. 😊
