Paal Sherbet / Milk Sherbet

A specialty of my native town Thanjavur and I got introduced to this recipe by my Father In Law when I was trying to collect Native Summer Coolers for my Cooler Series three years back. I posted the recipe in few of the food forums and in my KitchenDB FB page. This is an easy to make yummy alternative for Rose Milk. At our town, we have the very popular Kunangudidasan Sherbet Shop where they serve this. Even now mom is getting Nannari essence from that shop every time she visits Thanjavur. I make two versions one with Sabja Seeds and Soaked Almond Gum and one with just Soaked Almond Gum. Pineapple essence gives a unique taste to it.
