Hi all 🙂 Hope you all are staying home and staying safe. Being quarantined on nation-wide 21 days lockdown, I am trying to make healthy and simple food with available ingredients that includes home grown medicinal herbs. I am trying our various chutneys, rasam recipes using Thuduvalai, Pirandai, Karpooravalli, Thulasi, Pudhina, Coriander, Methi Leaves and Betel Leaves. Here is one variation of flavourful and healthy Betel Leaves Chutney recipe made using home grown tender betel leaves that I paired with Beetroot Paniyaram.
Betel Leaves are rich in Vitamin C, B and a great source of Calcium. It has anti inflammatory and anti carcinogenic properties which are proven by research. It aids in digestion and also increases the metabolic activity of the body. It also keeps the blood sugar level under control.
