Murungai ilai Idly Podi

Hello dear all 🙂 For this week’s Organic Kitchen, I am sharing another healthy Idly Podi recipe using the superfood Drumstick Leaves / Murungai ilai. I had shared a Rice mix earlier which you can check out for the benefits of these super greens. Murungai ilai being abundant at home, thought of making this Idly Podi to stock. It takes hardly a day or two to get these leaves dried in shade to crisp. If you are lazy to remove the leaves from the stalks (yes, it is tedious) you can just roll them in the newspaper and keep it in the fridge for a day, the next day you can just shake the stalks to separate out the leaves. Clean them slightly, wash, drain, and shade dry.
