Banana Blossom is rich in vitamins and minerals. It is proven to be anti-cancerous and anti-aging. It helps to treat diabetes and good for lactating mothers. They also aid in treating digestive problems. We can make a lot of recipes using this, Stir Fry, Vadai, Gravy etc., I am sharing a tasty chutney recipe using the Banana Blossom. (This recipe was part of my Cookbook on Lipsmacking Chutneys and I am rewriting this here).
I got two Banana Inflorescence from the farm and made Vadai, Poriyal, and this chutney. This goes well with Idly, Dosa and it can even be ground as thick thogayal to mix with rice.
