Mudakaruthaan Keerai/ Mudakathan Keerai commonly known as Balloon Vine Plant is a climber that bears trilobed balloon-like fruits, hence the name. It is very effective in treating Joint Pains. It also cures bad cough and cold, ear pain, and menstrual cramps.

For this week’s Organic Kitchen, here is a spicy, tangy chutney using fresh Mudakkaruthaan greens from my home garden which goes well with Idly and Dosas.

This is one of my family’s favorite chutneys from my Herbal Chutney Series. A must-try recipe I would say. Give it a try 🙂
