Hi all 🙂 For this week Organic Kitchen, I am adding another healthy and medicinal fruit based Rasam using the seasonal fruit Wood Apple / Vizham Pazham. I had shared Pachadi and Chutney using this healthy fruit earlier where I had shared the health benefits of this fruit. This is a very healthy and tasty rasam and the tanginess is added by the fruit pulp hence no need to add tamarind. Select a fully ripened fruit in which the pulp will get easily separated from the outer hard shell. We can also use the shell to make rasam.


This can be served as Rasam as well as a soup. Do try this recipe during this season and I am sure you will love it.
