Pirandai Idly / Dosai

Hi all 🙂 I am here with another Pirandai based recipe as I had harvested a whole lot of Pirandai while shifting my home, back to my own sweet home though small, I love being back here in my nest with my potted plants.

I will be missing the whole bunch of four legged and feathered friends in my big garden, the morning ragas by those lovely birds, my butterfly and dragonfly friends, but then life has to go and I am used to adapting to the changes that life offers.I started seeing birds here in my terrace already and few dragonflies too visiting my potted plants.

Here is a healthy Idly/ dosa batter recipe using very tender Pirandai stems (Choose only the thin tender ones to avoid itching and this will not have much fibre in it hence easy to grind as well).

A healthy enhancement to usual idlies, you can also replace Idly rice with any heirloom rice variety or millet rice. Serve it with spicy chutney. Try and let me know your feedback 🙂
