ThuduvalaiKaai Poondu Milagu Kuzhambu

Hi all 🙂 For this week I am sharing another medicinal Kuzhambu recipe using Thuduvalai Kaai (Berries of Purple Fruited Pea Egg Plant). Almost all parts of this plant has medicinal value. I had earlier shared recipes with Thuduvalai leaves, flowers. The berries are known to cure all the ailments related to Vatha, Pitha and Kapha according to ayurveda. The berries are slightly bitter in taste and it is always advisable to use Gingelly Oil, Pepper and Kudampuli (Malabar Tamarind) to harness the complete benefits of it.
