Hi all 🙂 Its been a long time since I posted recipes here. I am a little stuck with official works. I could not resist posting this tasty and healthy vadai recipe using protein rich Lobia/ Black Eyes Beans and a medicinal wonder green Kasini Keerai / Chicory Leaves.
The green has enormous health benefits and is bitter in taste. It is often made as kootu or parupu curry. This recipe is more palatable hence kids friendly.
Health Benefits of KasiniKeerai:
It is proven to increase the absorption of Calcium by the body which in turn helps in maintaining strong bones and teeth.
It alleviates menstrual cramps; helps in regulating the functioning of kidneys.
It acts as a body detox agent and maintains a healthy gut.
