For this week’s Organic Kitchen I am sharing with you all a very tasty Kuruma recipe which is a speciality of Chettinad cuisine to go with Idly, Dosa, Roti, Idiyappam and Poori.
It is Baby Jackfruit / Palaakai Kuruma using tender Jackfruit from hometown. I had shared Thoran/ Stir Fry, Kola Urundai and Spicy Masala using Baby Jackfruit earlier which you can check here.
This is a very tasty recipe and often made by my grandma whenever Baby Jackfruit is available. It is made using Green Chillies and no other Masala powders added. The addition of cashews gives this kuruma a creamy texture and add slight sweetness to the Kuruma.
