Pachamulaku Chammanthi

Another favorite household recipe that is very regular at home and can be made in a jiffy. Pachamulaku Chammanthi / Green Chilly Shallots Chutney is a spicy chutney recipe normally made using the spicy green chilly variety from Kerala Kanthari Mulaku (Bird’s eye Chillies), shallots and coconut oil. Due to unavailability of that variety I have made it with normal green Chillies,home grown fresh curry leaves and coconut oil made from native home grown coconuts. I have also added some fresh homegrown curry leaves.

It is often served with steamed Tapioca but goes well with even steamed rice, curd rice, idly, dosa and rotis, quite versatile.
