A humble trial of recreating the famous Bengali Street food Boroi Vorta / Jujube Masala Dip when I got some fresh Jujubes. This is one rustic recipe and I just love this to have this as is and I also served this with Rotis. You can serve this with Nachos or any Pita Bread too.
The Jujubes are rich in fibre and low in calories and hence considered a healthy snack. It is rich in Vitamin C, Antioxidants and is known to have immune boosting properties. Jujubes contains a good amount of Potassium and is used widely in alternative medicine to improve brain function.
