Hi all đŸ™‚ Another Gongura recipe which is an integral part of Andhra Meals, the Gongura Pachadi / Thokku / Pickle is what I am sharing with you all here today. This recipe is very close to my heart and I learned this recipe some 15 years back, from my House Owner aunty who is a native of Andhra. She was the one who taught me many Andhra Recipes, including Avakaya pickle. Whenever she makes this Gongura Pachadi and Sukkan Keerai Kootu, she never forget to keep a bowl for me.
A very spicy and tasty recipe using farm fresh Gongura / Roselle leaves to try. I have shared the health benefits of Gongura greens in my previous post, which you can check out. Gongura leaves produce heat in the body hence we use Fenugreek, Coriander Seeds and Gingelly Oil to compensate.
