Hi dear all 🙂 Here I am with another simple, tasty yet very healthy recipe using Kuthu Pasalai / Water Leaf /Ceylon Spinach. I had earlier shared a Kootu recipe using this keerai. This Poriyal is one of the tastiest version of this greens which you can make in minutes. Check out my other post link to know the wonderful health benefits of this green.
A word of caution though, This green is not advisable for those who are suffering from Kidney Disorders and Rheumatoid arthritis as this green is a rich source of Oxalic acid.
This green can easily be grown in pots and is a great source of Vitamin A, C and Calcium. Got this fresh greens from the farm and I have planted few stems in my terrace pots and waiting to see them growing 🙂


This goes well with Rotis and Hot Steamed Rice with a drizzle of ghee. It can also be consumed as such and I prefer consuming that way. Do try this simple recipe and share your feedback.
